Pastor Michael Norris Biography

Pastor Michael Norris was not raised in a church environment, but one night in his 20’s his life changed forever. He attended a service at The Bible Church of Christ, Mt. Vernon NY under the pastoral leadership of Bishop Roy Bryant Sr.; where the message preached was from Psalms 14:1 “The fool hath said in his heart there is no God”. As a result of convicting power of the Word of God, he went for prayer and gave his life to the Lord and was filled with the Holy Ghost.

As a newborn Christian, he was determined to know and understand this new experience and life as a “new creature in Christ”. God answered his desire by planting him in The Bible Church of Christ; a faith preaching, teaching and deliverance ministry. In the following months he enrolled in The Bible Church of Christ Theological Institute and obtained a bachelor’s degree in theology. He continued to faithfully serve in the church as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, member of the street team ministry, radio broadcast ministry, Minister, Elder, Presiding Elder, and a member of the church Executive Committee.

With the blessing of the Pastor, he relocated to North Carolina to help establish an outreach ministry to restore broken lives through the preaching of the gospel. In February 2000, the Lord birth First Love Christian Ministries Inc. in Salemburg, NC.

In 2015, the Lord directed him to move to the Cary/Raleigh area to work with other ministries to spread the gospel to men, women, and children. During that time, he met his beautiful wife Alisa, who today is working diligently along his side teaching, preaching, and singing under the anointing to fulfill God’s purpose and will for First Love Christian Ministries.

Soon after attending Praise Temple Apostolic Faith Church under the leadership of Bishop Vernon Spinks, they joined the church and were willing and faithful in serving in the ministry as needed by the pastor. With the direction of God and the approval of Bishop Spinks, Michael Norris stepped out on faith and opened First Love Christian Ministries in the Raleigh area.

First Love Christian Ministry is a faith-based teaching, preaching and deliverance ministry, where the Word of God is preached, and the power of God is demonstrated so that everyone that hears it may know that no matter what they have been through or are going through, God can change their life so that they can walk in God’s purpose and plan for them.
